Milan Vu

Milan Vu is a Technical Tutor in Bioscience at Middlesex University, affiliated with the Department of Natural Sciences within the Faculty of Science & Technology. He oversees technical operations in the Cancer and Biophysics Laboratory (H220) and contributes to teaching in Biochemistry, Bioscience, and Biomedical Science.

Research Interests
Milán Vu focuses on the molecular mechanisms of cancer cell death, particularly apoptosis and autophagy regulation in acute myeloid leukemia (AML) through drug combinations like doxorubicin and betulinic acid. His work explores the role of PI3K/Akt and ROS pathways in chemoresistance, with recent projects extending into public health via wastewater-based epidemiology for SARS-CoV-2 monitoring in schools.
