Milan Przulj is a Lecturer (Clinical Education) and Speech Pathologist at The University of Sydney's SPEECH Clinic. He teaches clinical practice in undergraduate and postgraduate speech pathology programs, including units like Advanced Practice Clinical I and II. He holds qualifications such as BA(Ling), MSpchLngPath, MSPA, CPSP (Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist), and FHEA (Fellowship of the Higher Education Academic).
His research focuses on bridging cultural differences in auditory perception and clinical communication between Chinese and Australian speech pathology students, as well as evaluating therapy efficacy for speech disorders. He has presented at conferences such as the Apraxia Kids conference and the CAS Research Symposium. Recent work highlights the importance of frequent therapy sessions for optimal outcomes in Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS).
Przulj has received the 2023 Teaching Citation for widening participation and equity, and the FMH Makers & Shapers award for enhancing student experience. He is also the Student Liaison Academic (SLA) for the Master of Speech and Language Pathology program.
