Milan Nešković is Associate Professor of Dramatic and Audiovisual Arts at the Academy of Arts, University of Arts in Belgrade. Since 2012 he has been a core member of the faculty, progressing from artistic collaborator to docent (2016) and, as of 2024, to associate professor.
His academic training began at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade, where he graduated in 2011 in Theatre and Radio Directing under Professors Nikola Jevtić and Alisa Stojanović.
Research and creative interests centre on contemporary theatre directing, film direction, actor coaching, and large-scale cultural event production. His work often bridges canonical dramatic texts with multimedia experimentation.
Nešković has staged over twenty professional theatre productions in leading Serbian and regional theatres, tackling authors from Shakespeare to Popović, Nušić to Mlađenović. He also served as assistant director and actor in Emir Kusturica’s feature film On the Milky Road.
