معرفی
Dr. habil. Miklós Szakáll is a Research Associate at the Institute for Atmospheric Physics, Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, Germany. He leads the Wind Tunnel Laboratory under Prof. Stephan Borrmann, focusing on ice nucleation, raindrop microphysics, and cloud dynamics. His work integrates experimental techniques like vertical wind tunnel simulations and photoacoustic spectroscopy to study atmospheric processes.
- Education: PhD in Physics (University of Szeged, 2005), M.Sc. in Physics (University of Szeged, 1998), B.Sc. in Programming (University of Szeged, 2000).
- Research: Key projects include the INUIT ice nucleation studies and AQUARadar drop shape analysis. His experiments on graupel collisions, drop breakup, and retention mechanisms advance radar meteorology and climate modeling.
- Publications: Over 25 peer-reviewed articles on cloud microphysics, ice nucleation, and spectroscopy techniques. Recent work explores secondary ice production, aerosol retention, and hailstone aerodynamics.
- Affiliations: Member of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences' Earth Sciences Section, Hungarian Meteorological Society, and former Hungarian Physical Society member.
