Mikhail Kurushkin is an Associate Professor at ITMO University and currently serves as the Dean of the Faculty of Biotechnologies. He also holds the position of Head of the Center for Educational Neuroscience and works as a Lead Engineer at the Advanced Engineering School in Interdisciplinary Engineering.
- PhD in Inorganic Chemistry (2016) from Peter the Great Polytechnic University
- International Engineering Educator ING.PAED.IGIP (2017)
His research spans biotechnologies, educational neuroscience, and materials science, with a focus on interdisciplinary engineering education and chemical research. He organized the Mendeleev 150 conference on the periodic table in 2018–2019.
