Mikhail Kostylev

Mikhail Kostylev is a Professor at the University of Western Australia, affiliated with the School of Physics, Maths and Computing and the Department of Physics. He leads the Magnetisation Dynamics and Spintronics research group, focusing on advanced topics in magnetism, spintronics, and nanostructured materials. His work contributes to UN Sustainable Development Goals through innovations in materials science and magnetic technologies.

Teaching & Supervision: Graduate Research Coordinator for the Department of Physics. Supervises Honours, Master's, and PhD students, delivering specialized courses like Advanced Statistical Physics, Quantum Measurements, and Solitons to advanced students.
