Dr. Mike Salinas is a Senior Lecturer in Criminology at Manchester Metropolitan University, affiliated with the Department of Criminology under the Humanities and Social Sciences school. He holds a PhD from the University of Manchester (2014) and has extensive research interests in criminal careers, illegal drug markets, and image/performance-enhancing drug (IPED) dynamics. His work integrates sociological and economic theories, focusing on drug suppliers’ operations across supply chains and the intersection of gym culture with illicit substance use.
