Mike Morgan is an Assistant Professor in the School of Nursing, Midwifery and Health. His research focuses on innovative methodologies in healthcare research, particularly in occupational therapy and knowledge translation. He explores environmental health strategies, including ecopsychology and sustainable development in healthcare systems. His teaching interests include widening participation in higher education, universal design for learning, and outdoor/Adventure Learning. He has collaborated on projects addressing mental wellbeing through nature-based interventions and occupational therapy student development.
Activities include invited talks on sustainability in occupational therapy and therapeutic horticulture, as well as conference participations on topics like rooftop gardening and nature connections. His work aligns with UN SDGs, emphasizing health promotion and ecological public health.
