Mike Hook is a part-time lecturer at the University of Ottawa's Faculty of Law, where he teaches courses on starting and running small or solo legal practices. He has been operating his own law practice in Toronto since 2012, specializing in advising socially, environmentally, and ethically responsible entrepreneurs. Additionally, Hook is a founder of Last Straw Distillery and advocates for small business as a tool for social benefit, while studying permaculture and design thinking.
