Mikayla Warren serves as a Lecturer in Children & Young Peoples Health and Nursing at the School of Health Sciences, University of East Anglia (UEA), where she began her academic career in 2021. She holds dual leadership roles as Admissions Lead and Advisor Lead for the Children and Young People's Nursing program, focusing on developing future nursing professionals through evidence-based education.

- Bachelor of Nursing from the University of Hertfordshire (2004-2007)
- Ongoing Master of Teaching and Learning at the University of East Anglia (since 2021)
