Katie Mclaughlin is an Associate Professor in Nursing Sciences (Adult) at the School of Health Sciences, University of East Anglia. With over 20 years of clinical experience in the NHS as a Health Visitor (Specialist Community Public Health Nurse), she specializes in safeguarding vulnerable children, families, and deprived communities. His research focuses on public health, health promotion, and child protection frameworks.
His academic background includes a Masters in Childcare Law and Practice from Keele University (2015), where his dissertation earned the Brown Jacobson Prize. He serves as Admissions Tutor, Safeguarding Children Lead, and Module Organiser for BSc Adult Nursing at UEA.
