Mika Jekabson

Mika Jekabson is a Professor of Biology at the University of Mississippi. They specialize in mitochondrial bioenergetics and the role of mitochondria in apoptotic and necrotic cell death. Their research focuses on neurodegenerative diseases, including Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, and Huntington’s, with an emphasis on mitochondrial dysfunction’s role in these conditions.
