Mijin Cha serves as an Assistant Professor of Urban and Environmental Policy at Occidental College and holds a fellowship at Cornell University's Worker Institute through the Labor Leading on Climate initiative.
Her research centers on "just transition" frameworks for equitably shifting workers and communities toward low-carbon economies, bridging climate policy, environmental justice, labor dynamics, and urban development. This work emphasizes systemic equity in decarbonization pathways and community-centered climate solutions.
