Mihee Nahm is an Assistant Professor of Painting at the University of Dallas, specializing in themes of memory, place, and nostalgia through natural imagery. Her work explores the bittersweet passage of time and emotional connections to environments. She holds an MFA from the University of Texas at Austin (2012) and a BFA from the Art Academy of Cincinnati (2008).
Her artistic practice involves meticulous observation of daily landscapes, with recent focus on rainy weather and twilight skies to evoke visceral emotional responses. Residencies include Vermont Studio Center and Kimmel Harding Nelson Center. Her works have been showcased nationally in solo and group exhibitions.
Her current series Soaked and Shredding reflect her exploration of transience and cultural displacement, blending technical precision with emotive expression.
