Dr. Mihaela Predescu is Associate Professor in Mathematical Sciences at Bentley University. She holds a PhD from the University of Rhode Island and an MS in Applied Statistics from the University of Bucharest.
Her research focuses on mathematical modeling of discrete dynamical systems with applications in ecology and public health. She develops analytical methods to study stability in population models and statistical techniques for parameter estimation.
Dr. Predescu received the Outstanding Scholarly Contribution Award in 2007 for her innovative work in dynamical systems theory. She teaches applied business statistics and mentors students in mathematical modeling applications.
