Miguelina German

Miguelina German, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatrics (Developmental Medicine) and Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She serves as Associate Clinical Director of Trauma Services at the Rose F. Kennedy Children's Evaluation & Rehabilitation Center and Children's Hospital at Montefiore. Her roles include Director of Pediatric Behavioral Health Services at Montefiore Medical Group.

Education: B.A. from Columbia College (2000), M.A. and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Arizona State University (2005/2009). Postdoctoral training included a psychology internship and fellowship at Montefiore, plus a 2017 performance improvement certification.

Research focuses on trauma-informed care in pediatric primary care, including HealthySteps programs and child/adolescent treatment approaches. She has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals and book chapters.

Clinical expertise includes pediatric anxiety, ADHD, depression, trauma, and postpartum mood/anxiety disorders. Board certified and affiliated with professional organizations like the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies.
