Miguel L. Arce

Miguel L. Arce is a Professor of Social Work at Springfield College's Department of Social Work, part of the School of Health Sciences. He has dedicated 45 years to serving marginalized communities in rural and urban areas, focusing on systemic poverty, inequality, and resilience. His work emphasizes combating social injustice through community development and policy advocacy.

Organizations & Leadership: Founded the Martin Luther King Jr. Charter School for Excellence, served on boards of Enlace de Familias, Bridges, Inc. (refugee support), and the Mason Square Health Task Force. He also led initiatives like the Selena Vazquez Memorial Scholarship Committee.
