Midian L. Ambo, MD serves as an Instructor (mapped to Lecturer) in the Department of Pediatrics, General Pediatrics division, at Loma Linda University School of Medicine, focusing on pediatric and adolescent clinical care with specialized expertise in eating disorders.
Her research program addresses critical gaps in understanding physiological impacts of eating disorders through two key initiatives: development of an internal databank for children and adolescents treated at Loma Linda University Children's Hospital (LLUCH), and comparative analysis of creatinine levels between eating disorder patients and elite athletes to assess renal function implications.
