Mickael Pailha

Mickael Pailha serves as a Senior Lecturer at Polytech Annecy-Chambéry, University Savoie Mont Blanc, and is an active member of the LOCIE research laboratory (Laboratory of Optics and Microelectronics of the Environment), a joint unit of CNRS and University Savoie Mont Blanc.

His research focuses on renewable energy systems through two primary themes: BASE (Building energy systems and environment) and STEP (Solar thermal energy and processes). This work integrates optics, microelectronics, and environmental engineering to advance sustainable energy solutions, particularly in solar thermal conversion and building energy efficiency. His expertise spans the development of clean energy technologies and environmental monitoring systems.

As part of LOCIE's interdisciplinary framework, Dr. Pailha contributes to collaborative projects addressing critical energy transition challenges, leveraging the laboratory's specialized facilities for solar energy research and building physics. His position within Polytech Annecy-Chambéry's engineering programs supports the training of future engineers in sustainable technology development.
