Michèle Preyde

Michèle Preyde is a Professor in the Department of Family Relations & Applied Nutrition at the University of Guelph's College of Social & Applied Human Sciences. Her research focuses on mental health outcomes for children and youth, particularly those receiving intensive treatments such as residential or inpatient care. She collaborates extensively with clinicians including social workers, nurses, and psychiatrists to study psychosocial impacts of illness, family dynamics, and transition to community living.
