Dr. Michiel Meeusen is a Research Fellow at the Institut für Klassische Philologie of Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and affiliated with the Faculty of Arts - Greek Studies at KU Leuven. He holds a PhD in Literature from KU Leuven (2013) with a dissertation on Plutarch’s Natural Questions. His research focuses on ancient science, medicine, and technology, particularly the interaction between scientific and literary cultures in the High Roman Empire.

Research Interests: His work explores ancient scientific practices, medical philosophy, and the socio-intellectual context of imperial-era texts.
