Michelle Meyer is a Professor and Associate Chair in the Biology Department at Boston College. Her research focuses on understanding the roles and evolution of non-coding RNAs (ncRNAs) in bacteria, combining computational and experimental approaches. She investigates how ncRNAs regulate gene expression, impact organismal fitness, and evolve across diverse bacterial species. Her work integrates genomics, transcriptomics, and high-throughput experimental techniques.
