Dr. Michelle-Marie Spadoni is an Associate Professor in the Department of Nursing at Lakehead University's School of Nursing since 2014. Her academic qualifications include a Doctorate in Nursing Practice (2010) from the University of St. Catherine's, MN, an MA in Nursing (2002), a BScN (2000), and an RN diploma (1983).
Her research focuses on:
- Relational Practice frameworks
- Addressing Moral Distress in nursing
- Compassion and resilience in healthcare
- Story and art-based inquiry methods
- Socially Just Nursing Practice
- Cultural Safety in education
