Michelle-Lee Moore

Michele-Lee Moore is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Geography at the University of Victoria. She co-founded the Water, Innovation, and Global Governance (WIGG) Lab, housed at the Centre for Global Studies, and serves as a Research Associate and Strategic Faculty Advisor for the POLIS Project. Her work emphasizes water governance, networks, and resilience, focusing on innovation in Canada’s global water-related policies.

Her research explores local and global water governance structures, social innovation, and institutional resilience. She previously worked at the B.C. Ministry of Environment and the Waterloo Institute for Social Innovation and Resilience. Current projects examine how water governance innovations are institutionalized at national and international levels.
