Michelle Granger

Michelle Granger is a Professor in the Department of English at New Mexico State University (NMSU). She teaches courses in Children’s Literature, Film as Literature, Writing in the Humanities, Rhetoric, and Technical and Professional Communication.

  • B.A. in English (Literature emphasis)
  • M.A. in Literature with a minor in Gender and Sexuality Studies

Her research focuses on Modernist Literature and film, creative non-fiction, and Children’s and Young Adult Literature, with an emphasis on how cultural representations and historical contexts interact with literary and cultural artifacts. She advocates for a collaborative writing pedagogy that affirms student literacies.
