Michele Gil-Montero is a Professor of English at Saint Vincent College, specializing in creative writing and literary translation. She holds an M.F.A. from The University of Iowa Writers' Workshop and a B.A. from Brown University.

Her research focuses on avant-garde Latin American literature, with notable translations of works by Andrés Ajens, María Negroni, and Valerie Mejer Caso. She authored Object Permanence and the chapbook Attached Houses. Her work has been supported by prestigious grants including the NEA Fellowship and Fulbright Scholarship.
She teaches courses in Creative Writing, Global Literatures, and directs the Visiting Writers Series. As Publisher of Eulalia Books, she contributes to literary publishing initiatives.
