MICHELLE EPHRAIM is a Professor of English at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI), specializing in Shakespeare studies, creative nonfiction, and Jewish literature. She holds a BA from Tufts University, an MA and PhD from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her research explores intersections of gender, religion, and early modern drama. Key works include Reading the Jewish Woman on the Elizabethan Stage (2016) and Green World: A Tragicomic Memoir of Love & Shakespeare (2024), winner of the Juniper Prize. Prof. Ephraim co-hosts the Everyday Shakespeare podcast, blending scholarly insight with popular culture.
