Michelle E. Knight

Michelle E. Knight is an Associate Professor of Old Testament and Semitic Languages at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (TEDS), part of Trinity International University. She specializes in biblical languages, exegesis, and theology, with a focus on the Former Prophets and narrative criticism.

Research and Publications:

Dr. Knight's research explores narrative criticism, Old Testament theology, and poetic elements in biblical storytelling, particularly in the books of Joshua and Judges. She authored The Prophet’s Anthem: The Song of Deborah and Barak in the Narrative of Judges (2024) and serves as Senior Reviewer for the Historical Books section of the New Living Translation.
