Jason Bembry serves as Professor of Old Testament and Hebrew at Emmanuel Christian Seminary, Milligan University, where he has taught since 2005. His responsibilities include Intermediate Hebrew, Old Testament Introduction, Old Testament Theology, specialized exegesis courses on the Pentateuch, Deuteronomistic History, Prophets, and Daniel, alongside triennial instruction in Aramaic, Ugaritic, and Septuagint studies. He pioneered an online Elementary Hebrew course in 2008.

- PhD from Harvard University focusing on Pre-Exilic history and Northwest Semitic languages, particularly Ugaritic
Dr. Bembry's research centers on Old Testament textual analysis, ancient Semitic languages, and prophetic traditions. His scholarly output includes peer-reviewed publications in the Journal of Semitic Studies and Maarav, alongside book reviews for Catholic Biblical Quarterly and Hebrew Studies Journal. He authored Yahweh’s Coming of Age (2011), examining divine portrayal in Daniel 7, and Walking in the Prophetic Tradition (2018), connecting biblical prophecy to contemporary practice. His work bridges rigorous linguistic scholarship with practical theological application.
Dr. Bembry integrates academic work with ministry, serving on Czech Mission Teams in Litomerice and Prague for student evangelism, and previously leading college ministry initiatives in Boston churches across multiple campuses.
