Michelle Coleman is the Dr. Steve Fisch Professor in Equine Medicine and Surgery and holds the academic rank of Associate Professor in the Department of Large Animal Medicine at the College of Veterinary Medicine. She is affiliated with the Large Animal Internal Medicine Service and the Veterinary Teaching Hospital. Her expertise spans equine medicine, surgery, and clinical veterinary practices. Dr. Coleman holds advanced credentials including a DVM, PhD, and Diplomate status in the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (DACVIM).
Her research interests focus on advancing diagnostic and therapeutic approaches in large animal internal medicine, particularly in equine health. She contributes to the Veterinary Teaching Hospital’s clinical services and is involved in teaching and mentoring students in veterinary sciences.
