Michelle Baack

Michelle Baack, MD is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics and Chair of the Department of Pediatrics at the University of South Dakota Sanford School of Medicine. She practices as a neonatologist at Sanford Children’s Specialty Clinic and serves as a physician scientist at Sanford Research in Sioux Falls. Her career spans clinical practice in Pierre, South Dakota, a fellowship in neonatal-perinatal medicine at the University of Iowa, and leadership in NIH Neonatal Research Network clinical trials.
