Michell W. Dittgen

Mic. Dittgen is a Researcher at the Department of Didactics of Social Sciences at the University of Trier since November 2019. His doctoral project focuses on 'Interdisciplinarity in Social Science Subjects (and Groups) in Germany', exploring teachers' conceptual frameworks and practical experiences in interdisciplinary education. He holds a degree in social studies, French, and educational sciences for grammar schools, with additional expertise in teaching German as a foreign language.

His research interests include democratic school development, political education, European education integration, and the role of digital tools in educational research. He has contributed to projects funded by ministries across Germany, including initiatives on democratic school reform and AI in education.
