Michele Pavon is a Professor at the Department of Mathematics, University of Padua, Italy, holding this position since January 2002. Previously, he served as Professor in the Department of Electronics and Information at the same university from July 1986 to December 2001. His extensive international experience includes visiting roles at New York University, Heidelberg University, Nagoya University, MIT, and Cambridge University.
Professor Pavon's research centers on the Schrödinger Problem and Stochastic Mass Transport, with broader contributions to Control Theory, Stochastic Processes, Optimization, and Probabilistic Modeling. His work bridges mathematical physics and engineering applications, particularly in aerospace and information systems.
