Michela Cordazzo

Michela Cordazzo is an Associate Professor of Financial Accounting at Ca' Foscari University of Venice. She holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Ferrara and has held visiting positions at the University of Manchester, University of Melbourne, and China Europe International Business School (Shanghai). Her affiliations include the Research Institute for Innovation Management at Ca' Foscari.

Her research focuses on financial reporting, non-financial disclosure, international accounting standards, and sustainability reporting. Key areas include the impact of EU regulations on corporate disclosures, ESG reporting practices, and the valuation relevance of intangible assets. She has published extensively in journals like Sustainability Accounting, Management and Policy Journal and Journal of Business Finance and Accounting.

Dr. Cordazzo serves on editorial boards for journals including Journal of Accounting & Organizational Change and Journal of Global Business Insights, and co-edits the Theory and Practice in Accounting, Auditing and Risk Management series.
