Marisa AGOSTINI

Marisa Agostini is an Associate Professor of Business Economics at Ca' Foscari University of Venice, affiliated with the Venice School of Management and the Interdepartmental School of Economics, Languages and Entrepreneurship for International Exchanges. Her research focuses on accounting information systems, sustainability reporting, corporate risk reporting, and historical accounting practices. She holds a PhD in Management (2012) and has held roles including Vice-Director of the Sustainability Lab and member of the EQUIS accreditation task force. Agostini teaches courses in accounting and financial analysis across undergraduate and graduate programs.

Her work bridges historical analysis of accounting systems with modern challenges in transparency and stakeholder accountability.

Recent Trends in Publications: Recent work addresses equity and inclusion in corporate reporting, ESG risk disclosure dynamics, and the integration of big data into accounting frameworks. Her 2023 PRIN-funded project investigates sustainability mindset and non-financial disclosures’ role in ESG value creation.
