Michela Chessa is a Lecturer in Economic Sciences (with HDR - Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches) at the University School of Economics and Management, Université Côte d'Azur. She is affiliated with the Research Group in Law, Economics, Management (GREDEG) and co-heads the Team MED (Modelization Experimentation Decisions) within the History of Ideas, Cognition and Complexity (PHICC) Pole. Her teaching areas include Statistics, Microeconomics, and Networks.
Michela's research focuses on Game Theory, Voting Systems, Privacy, Social Networks, and Modeling Experimentation Decisions. Her recent work explores public goods economies, international trade agreements using graphs/hypergraphs, and experimental validations of strategic mechanisms implementing the Shapley value.
Her publications span journals like Public Choice, International Economics, and Games and Economic Behavior. She collaborates with researchers such as Patrick Loiseau, Nobuyuki Hanaki, Aymeric Lardon, and Takashi Yamada. Michela is also active in experimental economics and decision theory, with a focus on cooperative game solutions and network analysis.
