Michel Vetsuypens

Michel Vetsuypens is a Professor of Finance at the Edwin L. Cox School of Business, Southern Methodist University (SMU), Dallas, Texas. He teaches corporate finance and international finance across undergraduate, MBA, and Executive MBA programs and participates in executive education initiatives at SMU.

• Education: PhD in Finance from the University of Rochester (1985)

Research Interests: His work focuses on leveraged buyouts, executive compensation, initial public offerings (IPOs), venture capital financing, and liquidity issues. His research has been published in top-tier finance journals such as the Journal of Finance and the Journal of Financial Economics.
