Michel JANOSZ is a Full Professor and Dean at the School of Educational Psychology, part of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences at the University of Montreal. His research focuses on school dropout prevention, adolescent adaptation, school climate, and mental health. He leads the GRES (Group for Research on School Environments) and has been recognized with the Prix ACFAS Thérèse Gouin-Décarie 2017 and membership in the Royal Society of Canada (2021).
Education: PhD in Applied Human Sciences (1994) from the University of Montreal, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Washington (1995).

- Violence in educational settings
