Prof. Michel Dückers is a Professor by special appointment in 'Crises, Safety and Health' at the University of Groningen, affiliated with the Faculty of Behavioural and Social Sciences and the Department of Social Psychology. His work focuses on disasters, crisis management, public safety, and public health, with a particular emphasis on understanding vulnerability and societal resilience. He also serves as Research Programme Coordinator for Disasters and Environmental Hazards at Nivel.
