Trond Heir is an academic affiliated with the Adult Psychiatry Unit at the University of Oslo's Faculty of Medicine. His research focuses on trauma-related mental health, disaster response, and public health. Notably, he has studied post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in diverse populations including disaster survivors, individuals with congenital heart disease, and those with sensory impairments.
