Michel Duprez is a Senior Research Fellow at Inria Nancy-Grand-Est within the MIMESIS Project Team. He holds a PhD in applied mathematics from 2015, focusing on controllability problems of coupled parabolic systems. His postdoctoral research (2016–2019) explored crowd models at Aix-Marseille University, optimization in biology at the Jacques-Louis Lions Laboratory, and teaching at Paris Dauphine University. His current research integrates optimal control, epidemiology, numerical methods, and biomedical applications like neurostimulation and augmented surgery.
Key projects include PREMYOM (2024–2029), MEDITWIN (2023–2028), ANR-PhiFEM (2023–2026), and others addressing healthcare innovation and mathematical modeling. His work emphasizes interdisciplinary approaches to solve complex biological and medical challenges.
