Michel Ducharme is an Associate Professor at the University of British Columbia, affiliated with the Faculty of Arts and the Department of History. His research focuses on the History of Canada, Atlantic World, and History of Québec, particularly examining the concept of liberty in British North American colonies (1749-1873) through a SSHRC-funded project (2008-2011).
