Michał Kosznicki is an Associate Professor at the University of Gdańsk's Faculty of History, Institute of History. He has held multiple leadership roles including Director of the Institute of History and Head of the Division of Didactic History since 1997. His academic career began as an assistant at the Institute of History in 1990, following teaching experience at secondary schools in Gdynia.
Research Focus: Specializing in history of education and history didactics, his work examines educational systems and pedagogical concepts in late antiquity, particularly through classical rhetorical texts and early Christian literature. He explores themes like parental responsibility in ancient education and representation of foreigners in late antique writings.
