Michal Halon

Michal Romuald Halon, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Neurology (Clinical) at Wayne State University School of Medicine. A Detroit native, he earned his Doctor of Medicine degree in 2019 and completed his Neurology Residency at Detroit Medical Center in 2023, serving as chief resident from 2022-2023. He joined the faculty after completing a Movement Disorders Fellowship in 2024.

Dr. Halon specializes in the diagnosis and management of movement disorders, including Parkinson’s disease, parkinsonism plus syndromes, tremor, dystonia, Huntington’s disease, Tourette’s syndrome, and rare movement-related conditions.
