Michaela Yandell

Michaela Yandell serves as an Adjunct Professor in the School of Natural Sciences at Lubbock Christian University, where she works in the Office of Health Professions and acts as Faculty Advisor for the Pre-Health Professionals Club since August 2023.

Her educational foundation includes:

• B.A. in Biology from Lubbock Christian University (2020)
• M.S. in Infectious Disease from Drexel University (2023)

Her research expertise centers on Infectious Disease and Molecular Pathology, leveraging her background as a laboratory technician in molecular pathology and her graduate work in infectious disease mechanisms. This expertise directly informs her advisory role for pre-health students.

She actively mentors undergraduate students through the Pre-Health Professionals Club, drawing from her own positive undergraduate experience at LCU to guide aspiring health professionals in medicine, dentistry, and veterinary fields.
