Dr. Michaela Reichmann is an Associate Professor and Consultant in Respiratory Medicine at the University of Southampton. She holds a PhD (2021) and completed a NIHR Clinical Lectureship (2022). Her research focuses on integrating bioinformatics and advanced cell culture techniques to study tuberculosis (TB) immunopathology and identify host-directed therapeutic targets. She is actively involved in translational research using spatial and single-cell transcriptomics to understand granulomatous lung diseases.

- 3D cell culture models for disease modeling

Teaching: Leads the Cardiopulmonary Module for BM5/EU Year 1 students and lectures on respiratory topics.
