Research Themes: The Ho Group investigates the role of tissue-resident immune cells (innate lymphoid cells, Tregs, alveolar macrophages) in lung homeostasis and repair. Key methodologies include spatial transcriptomics and single-cell imaging mass cytometry for mapping immune cell dynamics in lung injury and regeneration.
Publication Trends: Recent work spans idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, COVID-19 immunopathology, and sarcoidosis. Studies emphasize spatial omics, longitudinal murine models, and clinical translation, with a focus on interferon signaling, myeloid cell activation, and fibrotic progression.
