Michaela Maria Aigner

Michaela Maria Aigner serves as a Lecturer specializing in Applied Piano Skills and Score Reading at the Department of Composition & Music Theory, Mozarteum University. Her career spans over three decades of teaching and performance.

Her research and artistic focus centers on Early Music and Historical Organ Performance, with deep expertise in French organ repertoire, JS Bach, and basso continuo techniques. She actively explores improvisation and score reading within historical contexts, particularly through performance on period instruments like the Egedacher organ (c. 1700).
