Dr Michael Zervos is an Honorary Teaching Fellow and Deputy Head of Academic Tutoring (Clinical) for Phase One Medicine at Imperial College London's School of Public Health within the Faculty of Medicine. He focuses on training and supporting academic tutors, particularly during the transition to clinical learning environments, and co-delivers Schwartz Rounds to enhance student well-being.
- Education: BA (Hons) in Social Anthropology from University of Cambridge (2012-2015), MBBS from University College London (2015-2018), and MClinEd (part-time, 2019-2023) from University of Plymouth.
His research and professional work center on reflective practice in clinical education, including a Masters project analyzing how clinicians become reflective practice facilitators. He also leads a Balint Group for Foundation Doctors and has held leadership roles during his medical training.
Dr Zervos contributes to the Schwartz Rounds program at Imperial, promoting compassionate healthcare, and is actively involved in medical education frameworks across clinical psychiatry and public health domains.
