Prof. Dr. Michael Wrase is a Professor of Public Law with a focus on social welfare and education law at the University of Hildesheim, Faculty of Educational & Social Sciences, and heads the research group "Law and Governance in the Context of Social Inequalities" at the Berlin Social Science Center (WZB). His work bridges legal scholarship with interdisciplinary socio-legal research.
- Education: PhD in Law (Humboldt University Berlin), First and Second State Examinations in Law (Berlin), studies in Law and Social Sciences (Humboldt University Berlin).
Research Interests: Cover constitutional law, educational governance, anti-discrimination law, and the sociology of law. His projects analyze how legal frameworks intersect with social inequalities in education and welfare systems.
